• Do path jams occur right after power ON?
• Yes Is the jam at the entrance belt sensor?
Yes Remove the jammed paper.

No Replace the light sensor lever.

(Operate the sensor lever and check the FSENS connector pin signal on the
engine board.)

No Check the cable connections, then replace the sensor board (K71 PWB).

No Connect the cable properly.

• Yes Replace the engine board.

• Yes Did the paper reach the light sensor?

• No Is the main feed motor resistance within the regulated value (approx. 7.9. )?
No Replace the resist motor.

• Yes Check the gear mesh status, then replace the engine board.

• Yes Replace resist motor A or B.

• No Do path jams occur upon loading paper?
• Yes Is the belt motor rotating?
• No Is the belt motor resistance within the regulated value (approx. 7.9. )?
No Replace the belt motor.
