Setting 28: DEPARTMENT CODE DIGITS

Use this setting if you are using Telephone Billing and need to change the number of digits used

for Department Codes to accord with your PBX’s telephone billing system. Enter any number

from "3" to "9".

Factory setting: "4"

Setting 29: DISTINCTIVE RING

This sets the ring pattern to which your fax will answer if you subscribe to a distinctive ring

service. Enter a number from "1" to 5" to select a pattern. See "Distinctive Ring" in Chapter 2 for

more details.
