Playback
Basic playback
Note
•For DVD-RW (Video mode),
DVD-R (Video mode), and
DVD+R discs which are
already finalized and
DVD+RW discs, a Title Menu
will be displayed instead of
thumbnails.
Screen for the Disc finalized
on this unit:
•You can resume playback
from the point you stopped
playback (Resume playback).
Refer to page 51 for details
about resume playback.
Some discs may start playback
automatically.

Press POWER on the remote
control or the front panel of
the unit.
When you are playing back a
DVD, turn on the TV and be sure
to select the input to which the
unit is connected.

Press OPEN/CLOSE EJECT A
to open the disc tray.
The disc tray will open.

Place the disc on the disc tray
with its label facing up and
make sure to align the disc to
the disc tray guide.

Press OPEN/CLOSE EJECT A
to close the disc tray.

Press TOP MENU to display
the title menu.
You can change “Original” or
“Playlist” of VR mode using
MENU/LIST.

Select a desired title using
Cursor K / L / { / B, then
press ENTER.
Playback will start.

Press STOP C to stop play-
back.
To e j ect the disc, press
OPEN/CLOSE EJECT A to
open the disc tray, then remove
the disc before turning off the unit.
