Truly Multifunctional

The AR-M160/AR-M205 come with a printer

board as standard enabling you to use your

device as a high quality A3 laser printer from

the start. Utilising both the standard parallel

or USB 1.0 port, it is possible for up to two

users to use the print functionality at any

one time.

Where there is a larger workgroup, in

a small office or department for example,

the optional SPLC printer board enables up

to three users to be connected at a time.

By adding the print server adaptor, connection

to a LAN is also possible for multiple users.

The SPLC printer board utilises Sharp’s unique

printer language (Sharp Printer Language

with Compression). As a result, print files

are compressed which results in a much

faster transfer of data.

Sophisticated Print

In busy departments where LAN environments

exist for example, an optional PCL printer

board with integral Network Interface Card

can be added to create a highly efficient

network printer for multiple users. It is even

possible to integrate an optional PostScript 3

driver should this be required.

This printer board option even incorporates

sophisticated functionality such as TIFF/PDF

direct print. This allows you to drag and

drop TIFF or PDF files on to the

AR-M160/AR-M205 print icon on your

desktop PC for immediate printing. There is

no need to open the file and then select

print, it’s all done at the click of a mouse.
