4. CLEAR PAPER SYMBOL

Lift the release lever to move the finisher
away from the copier.

Open the exit cover.
: Misfeeding inside of the Copier
When a paper misfeed occurs in the copier the
CLEAR PAPER
symbol flashes and this
message will appear:
Misfeed in copier
Press HELP
The CLEAR PAPER
symbol flashes in different
positions shown in the diagram depending on where
paper has misfed. Remove the misfed paper as
described below.
. If a copy receiving tray is attached, remove
it first.
