SETUP

Select the model that you will be

using, and click the "Next" button.

Select whether or not you wish the

printer to be your default printer and

click the "Next" button.

Follow the on-screen instructions.

When "The installation of the SHARP

software is complete." appears, click

the "OK" button.

You will return to the window of step 3

on page 15.

• To install the Scanner Driver, go to step 12.

• To install the Button Manager, go to step 16.

• If you do not want to install the Scanner Driver or the

Button Manager, go to step 19.

Click the "Scanner Driver (TWAIN)"

button.

Click the "Yes" button.

If a message appears regarding the Windows

firewall, click the "Yes" button.

When "The installation of the SHARP

software is complete." appears, click

the "OK" button.

You will return to the window of step 3

on page 11.

• If you want to install the Button Manager

continuously, go to the next step.

• If you want to end the installation, go to step 19.

Click the "Button Manager" button.

Follow the on-screen instructions.

When "The installation of the

Software is complete." appears, click

the "Finish" button.

You will return to the window of step 3

on page 11.

Click the "Close" button to finish the

installation.

This completes the installation of the software.

• If you installed Button Manager, set up Button

Manager as explained in "SETTING UP BUTTON

MANAGER" (p.19).

• If you are using Windows Vista and a

security warning window appears, be sure

to click "Install this driver software anyway".

• If you are running Windows 2000/XP and a

warning message appears regarding the

Windows logo test or digital signature, be

sure to click "Continue Anyway" or "Yes".

• If you are using Windows Vista and a

security warning window appears, be sure

to click "Install this driver software anyway".

• If you are running Windows 2000/XP and a

warning message appears regarding the

sure to click "Continue Anyway" or "Yes".

Caution

To use the scanner driver, you need to

connect to the scanner function using

SC-Scan A (see "CONNECTING TO AND

DISCONNECTING FROM THE SCANNER

FUNCTION USING SC-Scan A" in the

Operation Guide).
