Erasing a group

On a group-recorded MD, you can erase all tracks in a

group at once. (Group erase)

Caution:

Once a group has been erased, it cannot be recov-

ered. Check carefully before you erase it.

Note:

The GROUP ERASE function erases the group and

group name.

Erasing group information

You can erase the entire group information of a group-

recorded MD. By erasing the group information of a MD, it

will be a non-group MD. (Group cancel)

Caution:

The GROUP CANCEL function erases all the group

information. Check carefully before you erase it.

Insert a group-recorded MiniDisc.

Whilst in the stop mode, select the group to be

erased (page 22).

Press the MENU button.

The unit enters the menu select mode.

Select "GROUP" by pressing

the or button and press

the MENU button.

Select "Gr TrERASE" by

pressing the or button

and press the MENU button.

Press the MENU button.

The selected group will be

erased.

Insert a group-recorded MiniDisc.

Whilst in the stop mode, press the MENU button.

The unit enters the menu select mode.

Select "GROUP" by pressing

the or button and press

the MENU button.

Select "CANCEL" by pressing

the or button and press

the MENU button.

Press the MENU button.

The group information will be

erased.
