Connect a stereo microphone to the MIC IN sock-

Insert a recordable MiniDisc (page 10).

Press the REC button.

Recording is paused.

"DISCONNECT" will appear for 1 second if nothing is

connected.

To perform group recording, hold down the

GROUP button for 2 seconds or more so that "GR"

is lit.

When group recording is not performed, hold down the

GROUP button for 2 seconds or more so that "GR" goes

out.

Press the or button to adjust the recording

level (page 17).

Press the MENU button.

The unit enters the menu select mode.

Select "REC MODE" by pressing the or but-

ton and press the MENU button.

Select the recording mode (step 3, page 32) and

press the MENU button.

Press the button at the desired point.

Recording will start.
