Connecting GZ100 to Your PC
You can use the following functions by connecting the
GZ100 to your PC using an infrared port, USB port* or
Bluetooth wireless technology port:
GSM/GPRS modem
Handset Manager for GZ100
Bluetooth wireless connection
* Requires an optional USB data cable XN-1DC30 for
USB port connection.

GSM/GPRS Modem
You can use GZ100 as a GSM/GPRS modem to access
the Internet from your PC. Connect your phone to your
PC via Bluetooth wireless technology, Infrared or USB
interface. Software installation on your PC is required.

Modem via the Infrared Connection
To use the modem function via the Infrared connection,
see “Using the Infrared Function” on page 105 and turn
the modem function on.
Modem via the USB Cable
To use the modem function using a USB cable, use the
cable mentioned above and see the instructions
accompanying the cable.
Modem via Bluetooth connection
To use the modem function via Bluetooth wireless
technology interface, see “Using the Bluetooth
Wireless Function” on page 102 and turn the modem
function on.

Note
Modem communication is not possible whilst
communicating with the Handset Manager via
