ASSEMBLY & SET-UP

References in this manual to “front”, “rear, “left”, or “right” are with respect to an operator

seated on the tractor. Review the separate Operation and Safety manual for information on

safety, instruments, controls and machine operation before beginning setup.

1. Uncrate the five cutterdecks. There are two types of cutterdecks: three with movable caster wheels for the

front of the tractor and two with fixed caster wheels for the sides of the tractor.

2. Start the tractor. Push the lift lever forward to lower the tractor arms fully. Stop the tractor.

3. All cutterdecks are attached the same, as follows:

a) Remove six bolts A from the top of a cutterdeck.

b) Mount the hydraulic motor on the deck using the six bolts just removed. Position with the center hose

(drain hose) at the rear of the deck. Tighten bolts securely.

4. Move pivot shaft.

a) Remove bolt B and two washers securing pivot shaft to tractor arm, noting order of assembly.

b) Remove pivot shaft from tractor arm.

c) Remove collar C from pivot shaft.

d) Install pivot shaft in deck as shown. Replace collar C on pivot arm and secure with bolt and nut.
