Outdoor Antenna Grounding -- Ifan outside antenna is connected to the televbion equipment, be sure the antenna

system is grounded so as to provide some protection agaklst voltage surges and buibup static charges. |

Article 810 of tile National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, provides information with regard to proper grounding of tile |

mast and supporting structure, grounding of tile lead in wire to an antenna discharge unit, size of grounding conductors, |

location of antenna disctlarge unit, connection to grounding electrodes, and requirements for tile grounding electrode. /

* Turn off the main power and unplug the AC cord from the wall outlet before handling.

* Use a soft cloth and gently wipe tile surface of tile display panel. Using a tlard cloth may

scratch the panel surface.

* Use a soft damp dottl to gently wipe tile panel wtlen it is really dirty.

(It may scratch the panel surface when wiped strongly.)

* If the panel is dusty, use an anti static brust% which is commercially available, to clean it.

* To protect the panel, do not use a dirt)/cloth, liquid cbaners or chemical clottl to clean it,

such materials may damage the panel surface.

* To clean tile outer cabinet, use tile same method. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
