The chips have multiple diodes below
the yellow coloured phosphor coating.
The phosphor coating converts the
most efficient light emitted by the
diodes - blue into the white light. The
phosphors have been specifically mixed
to produce a colour temperature of 2800
degrees Kelvin, to match the colour
temp of traditional Halogen lamps.
