Looking up a word by Filter search

A translation of an English word can be looked up by inputting its

spelling.

Find the translation of ‘advance’.

1. Press

to open the

Oxford-Hachette English-French

Dictionary.

The input screen appears.

2. Type in the spelling of ‘advance’.

As you type, candidates for matching

narrow. If the desired word is found,

then there is no need to type any more letters.

3. Use

to move ‘ ’ to point to the desired word, then

. The detail view of the word appears.

•To search for a word in the detail view, use the Super jump
